Laura B Fitzpatrick, LB, is an Interior Designer in Catonsville, Maryland. Laura grew up in New Jersey and gathered experience decorating while living in Seattle, Scottsdale, and the Baltimore area. She has an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), started her own company in 2017, and is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Laura loves designing and creating unique spaces that balance function and beauty, and reflect each client’s lifestyle, personality, and budget. She brings enthusiasm, a keen attention to detail, an artistic flair and passion for color, and a dedication to the work. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients. Getting to know people, listening, and the ability to translate individuality, wishes, and needs into good design is the key to success.

While at CCBC, she participated in the 2014 and 2015 Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Decorator Show Houses and the 2016 All American House at Carroll Mansion. Currently, she’s working on a few residential projects and recently completed the 2017 Historic Ellicott City Decorator’s Show House.

When not working, Laura spends time with her family and friends. Her sons now grown and in relationships, are starting their own families with their beloved Labrador Retrievers. When not with family or friends, loving life in her garden, playing classical piano, at her son’s rock concerts, working out, wining and dining, finding new hobbies and discovering new passions - she’s looking for the next opportunity...and striving to live life abundantly.

“I love the process of creating. It can start with the smallest spark or inspiration and rarely takes a straight path over a crooked one to the final outcome. The work can be fun - but putting it all together - that’s when the magic happens. Seeing the client happy is where the joy lies.”
